Job summary

XPO is seeking a Trailer Mechanic in Memphis to perform routine maintenance on trailers and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards. The role requires hands-on mechanical skills and the ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable experience in heavy-duty maintenance or entry-level technician role.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform safety inspections and document results.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on trailers in compliance with manufacturers’, DOT, and company schedules.
• Inspect and access equipment, including areas under trailers for servicing.
• Repair or rebuild components of equipment systems.
• Abide by DOT, EPA, Interstate Authority, OSHA and related regulations.
• Move trailers on site and operate a hostler in various weather conditions.
• Enter job times and parts on repair orders to track activity.
