Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with 2 years of semi-trailer maintenance and repair experience or equivalent education/experience
• At least 1 year of experience in DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes
• Able to supply basic tools or participate in toolbox purchase program

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain trailer equipment per company and manufacturer specs
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and complete work orders
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring of trailer technician trainees
• Participate in OE training for repairs
• Follow all shop safety procedures
• Maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers
