Carlile Transportation in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a Trailer Mechanic 1 for a swing shift on a full-time basis. You will service heavy truck equipment and diagnose electrical, computer, engine, emissions, and brake systems while prioritizing safety in every task.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with vehicle electrical systems.
• Conduct computer diagnostics to assess vehicle performance and identify potential issues.
• Diagnose and repair parts, including replacement as necessary, to ensure vehicle functionality and performance.
• Perform engine diagnostics to identify and address mechanical issues affecting vehicle performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair emissions-related problems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct brake system diagnostics and repair to maintain optimal braking performance and safety.
