Job summary

Poff's Power Solutions in Midland, TX is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and service commercial trailers in our Midland shop. You will perform welding, electrical repairs, and DOT inspections, ensuring road-ready equipment.

Work is full-time with 12-hour day shifts. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience, with growth opportunities within NexGen Enterprises.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial trailers or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of trailer brake systems, suspension, bearings, and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial trailers and semi-trailers.
• Repair and replace suspension components, axles, hubs, wheel seals, brakes, and air brake systems.
• Perform electrical repairs, including lighting and wiring.
• Complete welding and fabrication repairs on trailer frames, floors, doors, and structural components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Document completed repairs and communicate maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Poff's Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our growing Midland shop. If you enjoy diagnosing and repairing trailers, performing structural repairs, and ensuring equipment is safe and road-ready, we'd like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial trailers and semi-trailers
• Repair and replace suspension components, axles, hubs, wheel seals, brakes, and air brake systems
• Perform electrical repairs, including lighting and wiring
• Complete welding and fabrication repairs on trailer frames, floors, doors, and structural components
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections

Who You Are
