Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on company trailers, with a full-time schedule 3:30 P.M.

to 2:00 A.M., Monday to Wednesday and every other weekend. You will use maintenance software to create and track work orders, communicate status to internal customers, and apply basic welding, electrical and diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems or 1 year trailer technician experience.
• Able to operate diagnostic software and related tools.
• Ability to provide maintenance recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, rebuilds and component replacements on trailers.
• Use maintenance software to create and track work orders.
• Communicate status updates with internal customers.
