Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Trailer Maintenance Technician (Class A, B or C) to maintain and repair fleet equipment in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations. The role requires knowledge of repair manuals, schematics, and factory specifications, and may include performing a variety of tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Lakeland Distribution associate
• Be able to read and interpret technical manuals
• Be able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Have at least two years’ experience in trailer repair or a related trade
• Have mechanical and diagnostic knowledge of fleet trailer equipment, as well as knowledge of circuits and operational sequence of components
• Knowledge of ARC, MIG, and GAS welding and cutting including welding aluminum and steel
• Basic knowledge of parts and components of trailers

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
