Job summary

Industrial Pallet Corp. based in Kentucky is hiring a Trailer Maintenance Technician/CDL Driver to keep our fleet safe and on the road. This role is primarily in our trailer shop, with driving duties to support operations.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semi-trailers, diagnose components, assist with DOT inspections, and maintain a clean shop. CDL-A training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with semi-trailer maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance.
• Flexibility to switch between shop duties and driving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on semi-trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, lights, suspension, tires, and related components.
• Support DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
• Operate a semi-truck on an as-needed basis to cover routes.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Trailer Maintenance Technician , you’ll play a critical role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and on the road. This role is primarily based in our trailer shop, with driving responsibilities as needed to support operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on semi-trailers
• Diagnosing and repairing trailer components, including brakes, lights, suspension, tires, and other DOT-related items
• Supporting DOT inspections and ensuring compliance standards are met
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Operating a semi-truck on an as-needed basis to cover routes during vacations, call-offs, or other staffing needs
• Communicating clearly with operations and maintenance teams to keep equipment moving and downtime minimized
