Job summary

Buddy Moore Trucking is seeking a Trailer Technician to provide quality repairs on Class 8 tractors and trailers while delivering excellent customer service and contributing to a driver-first culture.

The role emphasizes integrity and growth within the company, with responsibilities including diagnosing and repairing trailers, performing Federal DOT inspections, and maintaining tools and service trucks. OSHA/OEM training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a trailer technician diagnosing, repairing (brakes, tires, lights and DOT Inspections), and maintaining commercial trailers.
• Advanced aluminum welding & fabrication, replacement of structural components, suspension components, electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
• Must provide and maintain personal tools and storage boxes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair & maintain commercial trailers by analyzing diagnostic test results (computerized, sound, visual, feel, smell, etc.).
• Perform Federal DOT inspections as well as preventative maintenance.
• Maintain company owned tools
• Maintain company owned service trucks
• Participate in company paid training & continuing education of OEM spec changes

Job Description

A successful Trailer Technician must maintain excellent customer service while providing quality and efficient repairs on Class 8 Tractor and Trailers. PS Logistics is searching for a high level of integrity, driven, qualified, and experienced Technician that wants to grow their careers and lead our company to be the best service provider in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications

• Skill Level: Advanced Level
• Primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of trailers.
• (Preferred, not required) A CDL, clear of violations/accidents & provide current DOT medical certificate
• Minimum 1yr experience as a trailer technician diagnosing, repairing (brakes, tires, lights and DOT Inspections), and maintaining commercial trailers.
• Must provide and maintain personal tools and storage boxes
