Covenant Logistics is seeking a Trailer Management Specialist to oversee trailer assets for brokerage operations. You will optimize the trailer network, monitor utilization, and coordinate asset movements to ensure timely returns and excellent service levels.

The role emphasizes accurate data, proactive issue resolution, and collaboration with carriers, customers, and internal teams to maximize asset productivity and shipment visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field required.
• 2+ years logistics industry experience required.
• 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of education required.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the trailer network to support Highway Services growth and customer requirements.
• Proactive and diligent execution of on-time tracking and tracing for all shipments in transit.
• Recommend trailer reallocation, pool resizing, or network redesign to improve asset productivity.
• Monitor trailer locations and status throughout the transportation lifecycle.
• Coordinate trailer recoveries and on-time returns for power-only shipments.
• Maintain accurate trailer records and updates within transportation management systems and supporting spreadsheets.
