Job summary

ITS Logistics is seeking a Trailer Logistics Specialist to ensure the integrity of the trailer network, including GPS tracking and accurate custody records. You will collaborate with internal teams and outside vendors to move trailers cost-effectively and on schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor GPS functionality across the trailer fleet for real-time tracking.
• Research trailer locations and maintain custody/movement records.
• Identify and resolve issues with out-of-network or misplaced trailers.
• Coordinate trailer shipments with internal teams and vendors.
• Secure carriers for trailer moves using established rates.
• Provide timely updates and solutions for smooth trailer operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Trailer Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our trailer network by ensuring GPS functionality, investigating trailer locations, and organizing cost-effective trailer shipments. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant trailer movements across our network.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure GPS functionality across the trailer fleet to maintain real-time tracking.
• Research trailer locations and maintain accurate records of trailer custody and movement.
• Identify and resolve issues related to out-of-network or misplaced trailers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to coordinate trailer shipments.
• Secure carriers for trailer moves using pre-established rates and processes.
• Provide timely updates and creative solutions to ensure smooth trailer operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
