Job summary

Niewohner Bros Inc is seeking a Trailer Manufacturing Technician to assemble Sidump'r trailers using a range of hand-held tools and equipment. The role requires reading technical docs, teamwork, and delivering quality in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic computer knowledge is required.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic tools.
  • Ability to work in a team and solve problems.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to learn trailer air and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand-held, pneumatic, and electric power tools and other machinery.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Work with various building materials.
  • Supply work areas with materials using cranes, forklifts, carts, or by carrying items manually.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area and ensure equipment is cared for.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures and meet labor standards.
  • Identify potential cost savings and minimize scrap and waste.
