Stoughton Trailers, a leader in trailer manufacturing with Wisconsin roots, is seeking an Assembler I to join our fast-paced production team in Brodhead, WI. You will perform hands-on assembly across multiple stages, follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to on-time line flow.

No formal education required; you will operate a variety of hand and power tools, read blueprints, and lean into teamwork to meet productivity and accuracy goals.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic work instructions.
• Comfort working at a steady production pace in manufacturing.
• Basic math skills including measurements and fractions.
• Willingness to learn new tasks, tools, and processes.
• Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Adherence to safety rules and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly work across various stages of the trailer-building process.
• Operate hand and power tools such as drills, rivet guns, and grinders.
• Prepare surfaces and apply caulk where needed to seal joints.
• Position and fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners.
• Assemble sub-assemblies like axles, wiring harnesses, and doors.
• Read blueprints and perform measurement layouts.
• Follow work instructions and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Meet productivity and quality standards and support line flow.
• Maintain dependable attendance and overtime as required.
