Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment is seeking a Trailer Assembler to install wires and components on trailers using standard tools and blueprints. You will read orders, verify specifications, and ensure proper torque and alignment while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Able to communicate effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles trailers by installing prefabricated wire harnesses per specifications.
  • Reads sales orders and blueprints to determine product specs.
  • Installs lights and decals, torques wheels to specifications.
  • Troubleshoots issues on the shop floor with supervisors.
  • Learns to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Trailer Assemblers are responsible for installing prefabricated wire harnesses into our high-quality trailers based off the specifications of each trailer. A Trailer Assembler uses industrial tools and equipment as well as hand tools that are appropriate for the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all equipment is in good repair, properly set up, and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use, including mandatory PPE.
  • Read and work from sales orders and blueprints to determine product specifications.
  • Install lights and decals onto trailers per standards and torque wheels to specifications.
  • Effectively troubleshoot issues that arise on shop floor and confers with supervisors and production personnel to resolve issues, keeping projects moving.
  • Ability to learn to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
Qualifications
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs without assistance and in a variety of motions.
  • Ability to safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a partner or in a small group.
  • Ability toread and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
  • Able to use linear and other measuring devices.
