Job summary

Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska is seeking Trail Crew 1 to build and maintain hiking and biking trails, ensuring alignment with resort standards. You will contribute to a safe, enjoyable outdoor experience and engage with a dynamic team in a fast-paced mountain environment.

Applicants should be advanced riders with a valid Alaska driver's license and the ability to operate ATVs and pickups on mountain roads. Housing, flexible schedules, and employee perks are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license required.
• Proficient in mountain biking and trail construction.
• Ability to operate ATV and pickup on mountain roads.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, construction, and maintenance of hiking and biking trails on resort property.
• Place signage at appropriate locations to inform riders and hikers of trail conditions.
• Work with other resort departments and be respectful of guests and staff.
• Follow instructions from Hiking & Biking supervisors and Mountain Management.
