CDM Smith is hiring for a transportation engineering role focused on designing sustainable, connected journeys. You will manage task work orders, staff projects, and contribute to proposals while delivering innovative traffic solutions.

The position covers multimodal analysis, safety assessments, and corridor planning, with opportunities to lead large-scale projects and collaborate with agencies. Hybrid work option available, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community, or Regional Planning or related field.
• AICP, PTP, PE, CEP or equivalent certification; or Master's degree in related discipline.
• 7 years of related experience with Bachelor's degree or 6 years with Master's.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsabilités

• Lead as Task Manager or Project Planner for multiple work orders and assist with proposals and staffing.
• Perform simulation and capacity analysis using Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, HCS, SIDRA.
• Conduct safety analysis through HSM methodologies and Safe Systems.
• Influence multimodal and transit analyses and environmental linkages studies.
• Develop corridor studies, design reports, and engineering documentation.
• Support Intelligent Transportation Systems and traffic signal design plans.
