City of Odessa is seeking a Traffic Worker who under basic supervision installs traffic control signs and paints pavement markings on City streets, operating vehicles, equipment, and tools in compliance with safety regulations.
The role requires HS diploma or GED, basic outdoor work experience preferred, knowledge of traffic control procedures, and ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with staff and the public.
Department: Traffic Reports to: Traffic Shop Foreman
Under basic supervision, performs a variety of basic labor tasks to install traffic control signs and paint pavement markings on City streets; operates vehicles, equipment, and tools in compliance with all safety regulations and standard procedures.
