City of Ann Arbor is seeking a skilled technician to install, inspect, maintain and repair traffic signs, signals, streetlights and communication systems across the city. You will read blueprints, operate test equipment, and ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL B license within 3 months.
• Forklift and Aerial Work Platform permits within 2 years.
• Ability to read blueprints and use test equipment.
• Knowledge of soldering and welding.
• Experience with traffic theory and signals operations.

Aufgaben

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair traffic signs, signals, streetlights and communication systems.
• Install and repair traffic control devices, underground cabling and street lighting.
• Design, fabricate and install traffic signs and decals.
• Inspect installations to meet standards and specifications.
• Calibrate and maintain radio transmitters, receivers and monitors.
