Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in related traffic signal work.
• Massachusetts CDL with airbrake endorsement required.
• Massachusetts Public Safety Hoisting License Class 1B required.
• Residency in the city of Boston.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance installation, repair and inspection on traffic signals and posts.
• Answer trouble calls; replace bulbs, relays or fuses; test and replace timers if defective.
• Install signal equipment and appurtenances; inspect and repair controllers and bridge flashers.
• Operate vehicles up to five tons; load tools; work with hydraulic ladder; assist mast arm work.
