Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a supervisor for a maintenance crew in Boston. You will lead fabrication, installation, erection, and painting of signs, poles, and traffic devices, and operate heavy equipment and lane-marking tools.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, applying signs, maintaining inventories, and ensuring poles are straight. Two years’ related experience and Boston residency are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience required in related work.
• Must be a resident of the city of Boston.

Responsabilités

• Lead a maintenance crew in fabricating and installing signs and poles.
• Paint and mark loading zones and traffic lane lines; apply plastic striping.
• Operate lane marking machines and related sign fabrication equipment.
• Prepare sign materials, inventory, and signs for storage and delivery.
• Maintain records of completed work and keep shop and vehicles clean.
