Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant work experience acceptable in lieu.
• IMSA Traffic Signal II Certification or higher is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Basic computer and networking skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers or employees.
• Experience with electronics and technology hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot traffic signal cabinets, controllers, MMUs, detectors, and related devices.
• Verify proper operation of devices; conduct inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Repair or replace cabinets and equipment; perform wiring repairs and emergency fixes as needed.
• Set up traffic control in varied speed environments and ensure safety.
• Document status with reports and logs; communicate shifts and updates.
