Job summary

The candidate must hold a valid driver's license and be prepared to obtain a CDL learner's permit within 3 months and the Class B license within 6 months. Certification in Fall Protection is required within 1 year; IMSA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent to one year of college in electronics or related field.
• Minimum six months of related, full-time experience.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record compliant with City Driving Standards.
• Must obtain a CDL learner's permit within three months of hire and a CDL Class B license within six months of hire.
• Fall Protection certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• IMSA Traffic Signal Technician certification preferred.
• Employees may be required to work hours beyond normally scheduled hours in response to department needs or emergencies.
