Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and five years experience required.
• Comparable education, training, or experience may substitute minimum qualifications.
• Knowledge of traffic operations, theories and setup practices.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Perform functional and performance tests and analyze results.
• Troubleshoot video, network and Naztec signal equipment.
• Oversee work of a team providing services or completing projects.
• Use standard electronic test equipment.
• Read and interpret plans, sketches, and blueprints.
• Possess valid CDL Class B Florida Driver's License.
• Knowledge of ATMS.now and related software.
• Ability to lift more than 60 pounds.
• Ability to perceive color, depth, texture; hear well; speak clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, monitor, test, repair, and modify traffic signals and related systems.
• Coordinate the day-to-day preventative maintenance program.
• Assist contractors with installation, configuration, and interoperability of signal hardware and equipment.
