Collier County is seeking a Traffic Signal Technician I to join the Traffic Signals Team. The role observes and aids in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of traffic signal systems to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow under general supervision.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and one year of related experience, plus fingerprinting and state licensing prerequisites. The position is based in Naples, FL, with a focus on safety and reliable operations.

Responsabilités

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of traffic signal systems and related components.
• Assist in programming, timing, and phasing of controllers; inspect and record timing changes.
• Maintain signal heads, wiring, and hardware; operate trucks as needed.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of roadway lighting and related electrical components.
