Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in construction, operation and maintenance of traffic signals.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities of the signal maintenance shop and supervise/train staff.
• Operate the City's Traffic Management Center and program/test/repair signal systems.
• Read blueprints and ensure permits and specifications are followed.
• Synchronize timing of signals along major arterial streets for optimum traffic flow.
• Remain on call 24/7 on a rotating schedule.
