Job summary

SICE Inc. is seeking an Electrical ITS Technician in Austin, TX for full-time field work on traffic signal systems and ITS infrastructure. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing in roadway environments, with requirements for CDL and OSHA-related safety practices.

Candidates should be prepared for day-to-day field operations and after-hours support as needed. Strong electrical knowledge, ability to read schematics, and safe operation of bucket trucks and lifts

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and related technical training.
• Experience with electrical, ITS, traffic signal, or roadway tech fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test ITS devices and traffic signal systems.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit and cabinet installations, terminations, and repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications; follow work orders and instructions.
• Operate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and company vehicles safely in field environments.
• Maintain records and documentation for maintenance, service, and projects.
