City of St. Joseph is seeking a Signal Repair Technician Electrician to maintain, repair, and install traffic signals, controllers and related equipment. You will work with live electricity daily and participate in emergency after-hours responses as part of a scheduled rotation.

Required high school diploma, electrical knowledge, and ability to read schematics; a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days is preferred. Drug screening and background check apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics and wiring required.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with testing equipment and tools.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance, repair and installation of traffic signals and controllers.
• Identify failures and initiate corrective action; troubleshoot field equipment.
• On-call duties; respond to emergencies after hours on a rotating schedule.
• Maintain records of maintenance and timing; work with live electricity daily.
