Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• One year Equipment Operator I experience required.
• Understanding MUTCD guidelines to meet visibility and placement rules.
• ATSSA flagger or traffic control technician certifications required or able to obtain.
• Valid Class C driver's license; CDL A/B preferred and clean MVR.
• POST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate sign truck and transport materials for installation/repair of traffic devices.
• Supervise outside inmate details and ensure safety and security.
• Input assets into the asset management program and fabricate traffic control devices.
• Perform maintenance on sign truck and traffic control devices.
• Work with computer/tablet for tasks, email, and asset input.
• May perform road closures as assigned.
