Qualifications

• One year Equipment Operator I experience recommended.
• Understanding MUTCD guidelines for traffic signs.
• ATSSA flagger or traffic control technician certifications preferred.
• Post Certification required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sign truck and transport materials for installation/repair of traffic control devices.
• Supervise outside inmate work detail and ensure safety and security.
• Perform routine maintenance on sign truck and devices.
• Input assets and tasks into asset management system via computer/tablet.
• Assist with road closures as assigned.
• Perform fabrication and repair of traffic control devices.
