C.S. Davidson, Inc. seeks an experienced Traffic Engineer to lead and expand our Traffic Services practice in the York/Lancaster region. The role blends technical traffic engineering with project management, client representation, and business development for municipal and public-sector clients.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, 10+ years of traffic design experience, and proven leadership skills to mentor staff and grow a high-quality transportation team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license (PE).
• Minimum of 10 years of traffic engineering and design experience.
• Experience managing transportation projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic engineering projects for municipal clients, including studies and roadway design, signal improvements, and multimodal planning.
• Represent clients and coordinate with PennDOT and local planning agencies.
• Manage all phases from planning through permitting, funding, and construction support.
• Oversee traffic impact studies, intersection analyses, signal warrant studies, and MPT plans.
• Support business development by cultivating client relationships and preparing proposals.
• Mentor and develop traffic engineering staff to grow a high‑quality transportation team.
