Job summary

AWP Safety in Allentown, PA is hiring a Protector to work at traffic job sites. No prior experience or degree is needed; safety training is provided and a career can be built from the ground up.

You will set up cones, signs, barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and maintain safe, clean equipment outdoors in all weather. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and emergency work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; Show up on time, every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test (safety sensitive job).

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and remove traffic control equipment.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outside all year, in all weather.
