Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc is hiring Protectors to work at traffic job sites across the region. No experience or degree is required. Training is provided. We emphasize safety first and offer opportunities to grow within the team.

Daily tasks include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and communicating with crew and supervisor. Expect outdoor work in all weather with varying shifts, including some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; available for nights, weekends, or emergency shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take traffic control equipment down.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Work outside all year in all weather.
