Job summary

Mannik Smith Group is seeking a Traffic/Roadway Engineer to join their Transportation team in Glen Allen, Virginia. In this position, you will enhance safety and connectivity through traffic and roadway engineering projects. Responsibilities include conducting analyses, developing designs, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical insurance and flexible spending accounts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of roadway and/or traffic engineering experience.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
• Experience with VDOT and municipal transportation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic analyses, safety studies, and transportation planning efforts.
• Develop traffic signal, signing, pavement marking and traffic control plans.
• Prepare traffic engineering and roadway designs for transportation projects.
