Job summary

RDA is seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our Blacksburg, VA team, tackling design tasks for VDOT and local clients with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 2–4 years in transportation design and strong teamwork and communication skills. E.I.T. is a plus but not required. We offer comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, HSA/FSAs, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• Registration as an E.I.T. is a plus, but not required.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in transportation engineering design.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong written and oral communication skills.
• A keen ability to apply standard engineering methods while thinking critically about design challenges.
