Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in North Carolina is seeking a Shipping/Traffic Coordinator to oversee foreign and domestic shipments, coordinate freight, and support manufacturing operations. This role emphasizes accuracy, cross-functional communication, and timely delivery in a dynamic environment.

The position requires 3–5 years of administrative experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of traffic coordination, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Experience with SAP preferred, along with proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Forklift experience preferred; willingness to learn forklift certification.

• Coordinate shipments where freight needs to be combined for optimization.
• Departmental coordination of Chemical manufacturing, Planning, Shipping, and Customer Service.
• Set up, schedule and book Foreign and Domestic shipments.
• Interaction with freight forwarders, carriers, and brokers.
• Problem solving skills to resolve issues during shipping process- inbound / outbound and in transit freight.
• Extensive computer utilization of SAP / Excel / Word, for shipping processes and reporting.
• Utilization of on-line shipping and freight logistic 3rd party programs. UPS / FED-X

Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $25.00
