Sealed Air Corporation in Lenoir, NC is seeking a highly motivated Transportation Coordinator to plan and coordinate daily shipping activities for ocean, rail, air, LTL and FTL freight. The role supports cross-functional teams and requires SAP and Excel proficiency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with an hourly rate of $22.00–$25.00.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of administrative or office experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of traffic coordination, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Experience with SAP preferred, along with strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Previous forklift experience preferred; willingness to learn and obtain forklift certification is a plus.

• Oversee Traffic and Shipping procedures for Foreign and Domestic shipments.
• Coordination of shipments where freight needs to be combined for optimization.
• Departmental coordination of Chemical manufacturing, Planning, Shipping, and Customer Service.
• Set up, schedule and book Foreign and Domestic shipments.
• Interaction with freight forwarders, carriers, and brokers.
• Problem solving skills to resolve issues during shipping process- inbound / outbound and in transit freight.
• Extensive computer utilization of SAP / Excel / Word, for shipping processes and reporting.
• Utilization of on-line shipping and freight logistic 3rd party programs. UPS / FED-X
