Caltrans in California seeks a Deputy District Director for Traffic Operations to lead the Division of Traffic Operations and its offices, including budget and program oversight. You will present to the public and local agencies, coordinate policy, and act as Duty Officer when required.

Qualifications

• Valid PE registration with California State Board of Registration.
• 1 year Supervising level transportation engineering or 4 years Senior level.
• 1 year managerial experience equivalent to Supervising Transportation Planner; or 4 years Senior Planner.
• 2 years civil engineering at Associate level or higher in CA state service.
• More than five years transportation engineering at Senior level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Manage the Division of Traffic Operations and its offices, including budgeting and program oversight.
• Plan, organize, review and direct Traffic Operations programs; represent the Department to the public.
• Deliver presentations to the public and local agencies; coordinate with policy matters.
• Serve as Duty Officer and act on behalf of the District 10 Director as needed.
