Job summary

Professional Facility Services LLC is seeking a Flagger / Traffic Manager to safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around work zones in compliance with MUTCD standards. The role requires standing for extended periods, wearing PPE, and coordinating with crews to ensure safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flagger certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Valid driver's license required with reliable daily transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to cross-train across PFS service lines, including snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices per approved plans.
• Direct traffic safely through work zones using flagging techniques.
• Monitor work zone conditions and report hazards to the crew.
• Follow MUTCD and applicable state/local regulations.
• Wear high-visibility safety apparel and PPE at all times.
• Communicate with drivers, pedestrians, and crew effectively.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports.
• Assist with landscaping, janitorial tasks, and snow removal as needed.
• Perform other duties as required by client and business needs.
