Job summary

Chevron, part of Ramudden Global UK, is hiring a Traffic Management Operative (Qualified) in Brentwood. You will join a safety-focused team, with day shifts but flexible to evenings, nights, weekends, and peak-period travel, including potential on-call duties when a company van is available.

Candidates should hold M1/M2 (or higher) qualifications, be familiar with Chapter 8, and have a full licence with ≤6 points.

Job title - Traffic Management Operative (Qualified)

Location: Brentwood

Hours: Guaranteed 48 HPW plus OT opportunities, must be flexible to work weekends!

Day shifts are typical, but flexibility is key — you’ll need to be open to evenings, nights, weekends, working away during peak periods, and joining the on-call rota, especially if you have access to a company van

What We Are Looking For

As a Traffic Management Operative, the following requirements are essential!

• Qualifications: M1 M2, M3 M4 M5 M6, SLG Unit 2 will be considered
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
• Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
• Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
• Attitude: Positive, “can-do” mindset.
• Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility: Able to work weekends, nights and work away, if and when required.
• Mentor New Trainees: Share your knowledge and guide new team members as they learn the ropes.
• Traffic Management Training is subject to signing a training agreement.
