Job summary

Chelon Chevron is seeking a Field Specialist for nights in Colorado to operate and monitor oil and gas production and related equipment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize artificial lift systems, work with day operations, maintain records, and use SCADA and CMMS to plan work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related oil and gas experience.
• Valid driver's license with a safety record.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices as described in the RBU Safe Practice Manual, maintaining a safe working environment, and being prepared to respond to an environmental or safety event.
• Operates, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains oil and gas production equipment.
• Perform duties associated with oil and gas producing operations, including plunger lift, rod pumping, flowing wells, and compressors.
• Optimizing artificial lift systems.
• Partner with IOC and complete thorough handoffs to day operations.
• Records keeping and data input.
• Monitors computer control systems.
• Tests safety devices.
• Operates and monitors SCADA.
• Partners with other employees and contractors to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency; trains and checks competency.
• Utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders for inventory and work planning/prioritization.
• Ensures work adheres to Operational Excellence standards and regulatory requirements.
• Completes required regulatory tasks.

• Partners with other employees, and contractors to ensure that all equipment is operating at peak efficiency. Works closely with contractors to ensure training and competency is up to standards.

• Utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders for inventory and work planning/prioritization.

• Assures all work performed adheres to Chevron's Operational Excellence standards and regulatory requirements.

• Other assigned duties as needed. Completes required regulatory tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• A minimum of 1-year current related experience in oil and gas, or related petrochemical industries

• Possess a valid driver's license with a safety record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability and willingness to work nights 7/7 schedule, weekends and holidays of assigned work schedule and overtime based on workload.
