Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/experience: high school diploma or equivalent; experience with two-way radio systems and dispatching.
• Ability to operate dispatch terminals and update databases; proficient in English and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays; maintain logs and reports.
• ACIC certification requirements and background investigations as part of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Interact with ITS users and manage two-way radio communications between Central Office and statewide units.
• Dispatch via radio consoles to field units and monitor system status.
• Operate nationwide law enforcement computer networks and related systems.
• Monitor CCTV, traffic applications, and other information sources; compile reports.
• Maintain event logs using CAD/ATMS and prepare technical notifications.
