Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen and meet background requirements.
• Access ACIC/NCIC training and maintain system familiarity.
• Proficiency with computers, phones, and radio equipment; clear communication.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls; determine appropriate response.
• Dispatch police, fire, or medical units and provide pre-arrival instructions.
• Enter data and maintain radio and computerized dispatch logs.
