Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks an Industrial Engineer/Operations Research Analyst to analyze and enhance TFMEP operations in support of deconfliction efforts for FAA facilities.

The role emphasizes engineering and OR expertise to develop repeatable TFMEP processes and deliver strategic outputs to FAA personnel. Onsite work at FAA HQ and DOT TFMEP Center is required, with 24/7 readiness as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering and operations research expertise.
• Experience supporting process improvement, operational analysis, or system optimization.
• Knowledge of NAS operations and traffic flow management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor all phases of TFMEP operations.
• Support process improvement opportunities for the evolution of strategic deconfliction processes and capabilities.
• Provide output of the strategic deconfliction plan to FAA and facilities personnel as directed.
• Document strategy or direction on initiative implementation in TFMS logs or critiques.
• Integrate post-event analysis findings into strategic deconfliction processes and capability improvements.
• Establish, execute, and refine repeatable operational processes in TFMEP Center activities.
• Collaborate with FAA management, NAS stakeholders, and TFMEP staff.
• Support TFMEP capability activities at the TFMEP Control Center.
• Contribute engineering and operations research expertise to improve NAS efficiency.
• Assist documenting lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
