Job summary

Q3 Contracting, Inc is seeking reliable Traffic Control Flaggers and Lead Flaggers to maintain safe traffic flow through active construction zones across Northern Wisconsin. This role supports ongoing projects, offering on-the-job training and union wage opportunities with overtime possibilities.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work outdoors in varying weather. Lead flaggers require verifiable leadership experience and a safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• MnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training).
• Previous flagging experience is a plus but not required.
• Lead flaggers must have 1-year verifiable experience in leading a flagging team.

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radios.
• Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.).
• Communicate clearly with crew members and the public.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditions.
• Follow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.

Q3 Contracting is hiring dependable, safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers and Lead Flaggers to help protect our crews and the traveling public.
