Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Traffic Engineering Team Manager in Las Vegas to lead our local traffic group, oversee project delivery, mentor staff, and collaborate with the Pacific Northwest team to meet client objectives.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 12+ years in traffic engineering, a professional license, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide projects from concept through construction. Occasional travel and a strong focus on QA/QC and safety are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in traffic engineering and design.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Staff management experience.
• Project management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with traffic engineering principles and DOT approvals.
• Proven ability to lead and guide teams with QA/QC.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a local team of traffic design and operations professionals, providing mentoring and development.
• Provide traffic engineering technical expertise on projects.
• Lead traffic-focused projects and tasks on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Leverage client relationships to cross-sell services.
