Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate Civil Engineering program or related field of study.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with clients and team members.
• Willingness to learn in a flexible, cross-disciplinary environment.
• Willingness to attend site visits and perform field data collection outdoors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection and analysis of traffic count, turning movement, and travel time data.
• Use AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads or related software to prepare drawings, layouts, and estimates.
• Support preparation of signal timing plans and signing/striping plans.
• Help develop traffic impact studies and capacity analyses with standard software.
• Understand client interests and help address concerns in project work.
• Coordinate with internal and external team members across projects.
• Travel to project sites to conduct field observations and interface with clients.
