Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-Time Traffic Engineering Intern to join our Philadelphia, PA office. This internship runs from March 29, 2027 to August 20, 2027 and targets undergrad/grad students through Drexel University.

Responsibilities include assisting with traffic studies, multimodal planning, safety analyses, and transportation design tasks while developing technical, social, and ethical skills under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Civil Engineering or related program.
• Anticipated graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Demonstrated interest in civil engineering and project work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic engineering and transportation planning projects.
• Contribute to road safety projects and analyses.
• Assist with traffic design such as signals and pavement markings.
• Support preliminary design calculations and documentation.
• Prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained and organized.
