Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Traffic Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support transportation projects for municipalities and public agencies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software (MicroStation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS) preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented and able to work with a professional team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of transportation infrastructure including roadway and drainage.
• Prepare drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Conduct transportation design and modeling and quantity take-offs.
• Participate in field investigations and data collection.
• Support cost estimates and budgeting.
• Assist with permitting and scheduling efforts.
• Review drawings for accuracy and standards.
• Use engineering software and Office tools to support tasks.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
