Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Public Works Engineering Intern to join our Houston, TX team for Summer 2027. The internship provides exposure to planning, design, and construction of public works and offers hands-on learning under experienced engineers.

You will assist with drawings, specs, and data collection, contribute to project documentation, and gain practical industry experience while developing your technical and communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or similar engineering software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing basic plan details, drawings, and calculations under supervision.
• Support development of technical specifications and project documentation.
• Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums.
• Participate in field visits to observe tests and collect data.
• Provide general support to project teams and proposal materials.
