Job summary

Consor is seeking a Traffic Engineering Designer to contribute to complex transportation projects, delivering design plans, specifications, and cost estimates. You will design traffic control for signals, signing, pavement markings, lighting, and work zones, applying engineering judgment to create constructible solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in transportation design.
  • 2+ years of directly related experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Civil 3D.
  • Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver traffic engineering design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.

Job description

As a Traffic Engineering Designer, you will work on portions of complex transportation projects and provide technical support in traffic operations, traffic control, and safety-related design. You will apply sound engineering judgment and collaborate closely with project engineers and managers to deliver accurate, efficient, and constructible traffic design solutions.

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver traffic engineering design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
