Job summary

Patel, Greene and Associates (PGA) is seeking a driven Traffic Engineer to join our team in Bartow, Florida. The role focuses on developing traffic engineering plans, concept plans, quantity estimates, and traffic studies while ensuring compliance with FDOT, AASHTO, MUTCD, and other standards.

You will support traffic study reviews and QA/QC activities, delivering actionable recommendations for safety and operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) with in-state or ability to obtain licensure.
• 0–10 years of progressively more complex post-registration traffic and/or ITS design experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university, majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop traffic engineering plans, concept plans, and quantity estimates.
• Prepare traffic studies and QA/QC reviews for studies.
• Provide recommendations to address traffic operations and safety concerns.
• Intake, document, and respond to customer requests for traffic studies.
